London Irish have continued their flurry of major signings ahead of their return to the Premiership by recruiting Australia international lock Adam Coleman.

Coleman, a 6ft 8in second row, has won 31 caps and has been an ever-present for the Wallabies over the last two-and-a-half years.

The 27-year-old, who currently plays for the Melbourne Rebels, will line-up with Irish for the 2019/20 Premiership season after this autumn's World Cup.

"I'm really looking forward to joining London Irish" Coleman said. "It's been clear talking to Declan and Les that they've got big ambitions for the club, and as well as a good squad already in place, they are making some exciting signings as well.

"The plans for moving back into London look really good as well, and it will be a privilege to be a part of that journey."

The Exiles have also signed the likes of New Zealand World Cup winner Waisake Naholo, Sean O'Brien, Sekope Kepu and Paddy Jackson.

London Irish director of rugby Declan Kidney said: "We have a strong set of forwards, but know that we need strength in depth if we want to be competitive.
