Full-back hangs up his boots with immediate effect

Saracens full-back Michael Horak has announced he has decided to hang up his boots with immediate effect. The 32-year-old has had limited first-team opportunities at Vicarage Road having arrived at the club from Treviso in the summer. South Africa-born Horak also played for Leicester, London Irish and Bristol, while he won one England cap in 2002 against Argentina in Buenos Aires. "This has not been an easy decision," Horak said. "But I feel it is the best option for myself and my family." Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter added: "Michael is an outstanding individual, and he will retain close links with the club in the years ahead."
