Scots coach praises team following second-half comeback
Scotland head coach Andy Robinson was happy to see his side clinch victory in Argentina, although called for a better performance in the second Test.
The tourists found themselves 13-6 behind after conceding first-half tries to Gonzalo Tiesi and Juan Manuel Leguizamon, but Dan Parks kicked his side out of trouble after the break.
The Cardiff fly-half was responsible for all his side's points but Robinson was pleased with the team's second-half display.
"The guys worked very hard today. The front row were tremendous. We had to control the scoreboard in the second half," said Robinson.
"I was pretty frustrated first half, but I thought we had a good shape. Everybody worked together in a disciplined fashion.
"The outside backs worked well, we got the ball to the outside channels, the line-out was pleasing, although in one line-out we lost and they scored off it."
However, Robinson believes they need to raise their game if they are to win the second Test next week.
"I want to say that we've got to improve," he added. "There is still a long way for us to go, a lot of improvements. This is just a start.
"We are very pleased with the result, really pleased with the attitude of the whole squad, but next week's game is going to be very, very tough.
"We have the opportunity to get back-to-back wins in Argentina, which not many teams have done.
"We are pleased with the fact we are the first team to win in Tucuman on the back of the Ireland victory as well."
