Exeter have been buoyed by news that former Players' Player of the Year Andy Miller has agreed a new deal with the club.
Miller, who has been capped by Scotland A, has been a key member of the Chiefs squad since joining them from the now-defunct Borders club three years ago,
The 28-year-old flanker did miss are large part of the 2008-09 campaign with a head injury, but he returned last season to play a vital role as Exeter sealed promotion.
And coach Rob Baxter is pleased to see Miller remain at Sandy Lane.
"Andy has shown over a large number of games that he is a top quality open-side and I am delighted he will be part of our Premiership squad," said Baxter.
"As with all the players who have made the step up with us, I am really looking forward to seeing how Andy performs at the top level.
"I also believe Andy can still make improvements both in conditioning and in some areas of his technical game, which will help him and the team in the Premiership."
