France have called up Wenceslas Lauret for their Six Nations opener against Scotland in Paris on February 7.

The lock replaces injured Bayonne forward Charles Ollivon who suffered a shoulder injury during their European Challenge Cup game against La Rochelle on Saturday.

Ollivon is likely to be out of action for two weeks and may have to target his comeback for France’s second international against reigning Six Nations champions Ireland in Dublin on February 14.

Lauret, who plays for Racing Metro, will be part of 31-man squad for a week-long training camp which starts on January 25. The 25-year-old has been capped seven times by his country.
