The last time the Hurricanes made the Super Rugby final was in 2006 when they lost 19-12 to the Crusaders. The weather conditions weren't ideal!

Just before the 2006 final a thick fog surrounded the ground, leaving the spectators and commentators unable to watch.

Last time the Hurricanes made a Super Rugby final was in 2006, when they faced the Crusaders at Jade Stadium. A fog fell moments before kick-off, leaving most - including payers - unable to see what was happening.

Commentators positioned themselves on opposite sides of the field to ensure that the game could be seen by one when it couldn't be seen by the other while some spectators gave up completely and left the stadium to go and watch the game at home.

It was chaos, but the Crusaders managed to hold out and take the win.
