Phipps pushes physio!

Nick Phipps had a moment of madness when he pushed a physio during Australia's clash with Argentina at Twickenham.

Phipps helped Australia fight off a spirited Argentina to run out 33-21 winners at Twickenham and finish second in the Rugby Championship.

Argentina were in the game up until the very end, with four points separating the teams before a Bernard Foley penalty and Dean Mumm try handed Australia a seemingly comfortable win in the English capital.

With less than 15 minutes to go, Argentina were still in touching distance and Phipps was eager to get on with a scrum, however a physio was in his way when he went looking for the ball and Phipps decided to give him a bit of a shove.

Pumas winger Matias Moroni then came steaming in to do some shoving of his own but it was all well handled by referee Mathieu Raynal and his assistant JP Doyle.

Pumas scrum-half Martín Landajo was also put in his place when he queried as to why it was only going to be a penalty and not a yellow card.

"Are you a referee to are you a scrum-half?" asked Raynal. "I don't tell you how to play do don't tell me how to ref."
