England's head coach Eddie Jones felt his side showed that they could be tactically flexible in their 27-13 victory over Wales at Twickenham

Eddie Jones identified tactical flexibility as the reason England beat Wales after trailing at half-time.

England scored 17 unanswered second-half points as they beat Wales 27-13 at Twickenham on Sunday.

A below par kicking display from fly-half George Ford was not enough to stop England from easing to victory, outscoring their opponents five tries to one. Ford missed all but one of his seven kicks at goal in a forgettable performance from the tee, but Jones was quick to defend the Bath man.

"I thought he was very good today," said Jones. "Obviously he didn't kick many goals but you have those days.

"As I've said before, Tiger Woods misses putts, Michael Jordan missed set shots. So you have those sorts of days but I thought his play today was wonderful.

"He has been though a difficult time, there's no doubt about it. It's not an easy time for him.
