Elliot Daly will make his first start at full-back for England against the Barbarians on Sunday, with Eddie Jones' customary selection at 15, Mike Brown, picked to start on the wing for the first time since March 2013.

Daly has only featured on the wing or in the centre in his previous 21 England caps, and is joined in the back-three by Leicester's Jonny May on the opposite wing to Brown.

Harlequins flanker Chris Robshaw and Leicester's George Ford will co-captain the experimental side at Twickenham, which includes four uncapped players, plus another four among the replacements.

Gloucester's Henry Trinder and Bath pair Zach Mercer and Elliott Stooke will make their first starts in an England shirt in the uncapped international against Pat Lam's star-studded Baa-Baas.

In the front row, Worcester hooker Jack Singleton - who is uncapped but started against the Barbarians this time last year - is flanked by British and Irish Lions props Joe Marler and Kyle Sinckler.

The second row sees the uncapped and untested Stooke partner Joe Launchbury - who only joined up with the squad on Thursday - while the backrow sees Chris Robshaw at blindside, Sale's Tom Curry at openside and the uncapped Mercer at No 8.

The half-backs are taken up by the experienced Leicester Tigers duo Ben Youngs and Ford, which is contrasted with the centres in Northampton's Piers Francis and Gloucester's Trinder, who harbour three caps between them.

Among the replacements, Wasps half-backs Dan Robson and Danny Cipriani are named in a squad for the first time by head coach Jones, while Leicester hooker George McGuigan, Worcester tighthead Nick Schonert and Sale lock Josh Beaumont are in line for their first England appearances.

"This is a good young squad and their work ethic has been outstanding over the last two weeks," said Jones. "Their application to learn has been very good but they are very young at Test rugby level so this week's match against the Barbarians is a fantastic opportunity for them to step up.

"It is a great opportunity for them to show they deserve to wear the English rose, to show they can be in contention for the World Cup and a great opportunity for them to put us on the front foot ahead of the South Africa tour.

"We can't wait to get back to Twickenham and get on the front foot, please the fans and play some good rugby."
