England boss Eddie Jones has hit back at Bath owner Bruce Craig's criticism of his training regime, saying he "does not have the right" to comment.
Ben Obano, who was sidelined for 12 months with "multiple ligament and hamstring tendon damage" last week, became the fifth Bath player to suffer a serious injury in England training since Jones took charge.
Craig was left angered and said the number of players suffering serious setbacks during Jones' training sessions is "totally unacceptable".
However, Jones insists he is unconcerned by his growing injury list, saying he has confidence in his methods.
When asked whether he is concerned by the number of injuries suffered in camp, he told Sky Sports News:"I don't know whether that's the case. You guys are telling me that, but I'd have to go and look at the figures. I don't have a concern about it, I think we train appropriately for Test match rugby.
"I'm not privy to his [the Bath owner's] comments so I can't really comment on them. I'm one hundred per cent happy [with the way we train]. The only reason I'd alter it was if we needed to train harder or we need to train lighter to be at our best for Test matches.
"We prepare the players to play the Test match, that's what we do, so I don't think an owner of a club has the right to tell the Test coach how he should train the team."
