Eddie Jones says Bath owner Bruce Craig ‘thinks he knows everything’ about rugby

England coach Eddie Jones has continued his war of words with Bruce Craig, saying the Bath owner "sounds like Donald Trump".

Craig recently criticised Jones' training methods, following five Bath players joining England's now 15-strong list of injured personnel.

Beno Obano, who was sidelined for 12 months with "multiple ligament and hamstring tendon damage", became the fifth Bath player to suffer a serious injury in England training since Jones took charge.

Jones had already said Craig had no place to comment, and upon landing in South Africa ahead of England's upcoming Test series, was asked again about the Bath owner's comments.

"Bruce Craig sounds like the Donald Trump of rugby. He has the same hairstyle," Jones said in his press conference.

"Everything we do is about training to get better, it's not about satisfying some bloke who has got plenty of money in Bath and thinks he knows everything about rugby. I find it all a bit tedious."

Craig had labelled Jones' methods "totally unacceptable" but the Australian coach feels his critic has an obsession with intensity.

"If I knew that much I'd probably have as much money as him. Unfortunately I don't so I'll just stick to rugby.

"Bruce is absolutely obsessed by intensity, Bruce is the intensity king of the world. We train appropriately for Test match rugby."

England will begin the three-match Test series, which is live on Sky Sports, at Johannesburg's Ellis Park on Saturday, June 9.
