Jon Welsh has been added to Scotland's squad for their remaining autumn internationals, after three players were ruled out.

WP Nel and Tim Swinson were both hurt in Saturday's exciting 44-38 win over Samoa at Murrayfield, suffering a broken arm and hand injury respectively.

With Rob Harley also withdrawing after he sustained a knee injury in training last week, head coach Gregor Townsend has called in Newcastle Falcons prop Welsh.

Tommy Seymour is another player struggling for fitness after he hurt his toe against Samoa, although he remains in the group.
