Scrum-half available for the rest of the season

Munster have confirmed that they have agreed to allow scrum-half Peter Stringer to move to Newcastle on loan. The experienced former Ireland international is currently on loan at Saracens, but his deal at Vicarage Road expires at the start of March. And the Falcons have swooped to sign Stringer, who has made nine appearances since December for Saracens, for the crucial end-of-season run-in Saracens boss Mark McCall said: "Peter has been a brilliant addition to the squad, on and off the field, and we are sorry his three-month loan spell will come to an end after our match against Northampton on March 4th." The 34-year-old, who has been capped 98 times, will be available for Newcastle's game against Harlequins on March 12.
