England scrum-half Ben Youngs has agreed a new two-year contract with Leicester Tigers.
The 28-year-old has made over 200 appearances for the Tigers, winning the Aviva Premiership four times, and turned down interest from Bristol to sign new terms at Welford Road.
His form has made him Eddie Jones' first choice scrum-half and he has amassed 73 caps, appearing on one British and Irish Lions tour.
"I am delighted to extend my stay at a club which means a great deal to myself and my family," said Youngs.
"I'm looking forward to contributing as much as I can in the coming years as we all strive to make it as successful as possible for the club."
Tigers head coach Matt O'Connor added: "Ben is a world-class player and a central part of the squad here and an important player for us going forward.
"He has packed a lot of experience at the highest level into his career already and he is still a young man with a lot of rugby left in him."
Leicester also announced the signing of Argentina prop Facundo Gigena. The 23-year-old loosehead has already joined up the squad.
