Bath coach Brad Davis admits the competition for places is now hotting up after two successive wins in the LV= Cup.
Davies not too disappointed with display of beaten Warriors
Bath quickly switched their attention back to the Aviva Premiership after their 46-13 LV= Cup win over Worcester.
The hosts ran in seven tries at the Rec against the Warriors to make it two wins from two in the Anglo-Welsh competition, though they don't play again until they host Northampton at the end of January.
Instead they will now look to continue their good start to the domestic season, with their next league fixture seeing them travel away to London Irish.
"We're not even thinking about the LV= Cup now, until January," said Brad Davis, who is on the coaching staff at Bath.
"We've got two massive games now against London Irish and Harlequins in the Premiership."
Competition
But Davis admitted that the performance of young players such as fly-half Tom Heathcote, who scored a try in his personal haul of 16 points, and wing Ollie Woodburn had intensified competition for places in the starting XV.
"With the young players you never really know until you give them the chance and pitch them in. If they are good enough, the talent really starts to show through," he admitted.
On the overall performance, Davis added: "You can't always put your finger on the button as to why it clicks.
"In the first six Premiership games we have created the chances - but in the last two games we've finished them off too. The guys are feeling confident, playing good rugby.
"We coaches are going to have an interesting chat on Monday. There are some tough decisions to make."
Warriors assistant coach Phil Davies was happy with his side's display in defeat, believing the final score did not reflect their efforts over the 80 minutes.
"If you look at the scoreboard, it looks like it was a tough match for us, but I thought we played well for large parts of the game and had a lot of territory and possession," he said.
"I was really pleased with the way the players reacted and adapted to the challenge in front of them.
"Bath had a lot of the first-team players out there and, while we are not pleased with the final score, we were happy with the performance and the way the guys reacted to the challenge in front of them.
"There were lots of good things to take out of the game, we were pleased with our application, just disappointed we didn't take more points out of the match."
