Peel, Macleod and Jones to remain with the Sharks
Dwayne Peel, Nick Macleod and Marc Jones have all been handed new deals at Sale Sharks.
British and Irish Lions scrum-half Dwayne Peel and fly-half Nick Macleod have signed new two-year deals, while hooker Marc Jones has extended his contract by a further year.
Peel joined the Sharks from the Scarlets in 2008 and has been capped 76 times by Wales, while former Cardiff Blues ace Macleod is Sale's leading points-scorer this season with 231.
Jones is in his seventh season at the club having come through the academy set-up.
"Dwayne, Nick and Marc are all awesome players who fit into the squad fantastically well. I'm really glad they've agreed to extend," chief executive Steve Diamond told the club's official site.
Macleod admitted he is rejuvenated by the club's improved form as they look to secure a top-half finish in the Aviva Premiership.
"It's fantastic news for me: I'm extremely happy to extend my contract," he said.
"This season has seen a real turnaround, and has rekindled my enthusiasm."
Peel added: "I'm delighted to extend my contract. I'm having a good time here. Exciting times lie ahead and I'll be glad to be part of it."
