Patrick Lambie will lead out a Springbok team featuring six uncapped players against the Barbarians at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, live on Sky Sports 2 HD.
The 23-man squad for the Springboks' first of four November matches includes a total of nine uncapped players, however, no Test caps will be awarded for this international fixture.
Newcomers lock RG Snyman, flanker Roelof Smit, wingers Jamba Ulengo and Sergeal Petersen, centres Rohan Janse van Rensburg and Francois Venter all feature in Allister Coetzee's starting XV.
Tendai Mtawarira, Pieter-Steph du Toit and Oupa Mohoje retain their places and are the only players in the pack that started for the Springboks against the All Blacks in Durban last month.
There is a return to the starting line-up for tighthead prop Lourens Adriaanse in the absence of Vincent Koch who is not available for this match, while Julian Redelinghuys is injured.
Snyman will partner Du Toit, the newly-crowned South Africa Rugby Player of the Year, in the second-row.
Openside flanker Smit comes in for the injured Francois Louw, while Jaco Kriel is also sidelined.
The final change in the pack will see Nizaam Carr taking over the number eight jersey from Warren Whiteley, who is also not available for selection.
The Boks will start with a revamped half-back pairing in scrum-half Rudy Paige and new skipper and fly-half Lambie, with regular captain, Adriaan Strauss, not in the match 23 as the Springboks look to future hooking options.
The rest of the backline consists of Ulengo, Janse van Rensburg, Venter, Petersen and Jesse Kriel, who will start his first match for the Boks at full-back.
