Leinster prop Stan Wright has been cleared to play in the Magners League final against Ospreys on Saturday May 29th.

Disciplinary hearing all-clear

Leinster prop Stan Wright has been cleared to play in the Magners League final against Ospreys on Saturday May 29th. Wright and Munster loose forward Nick Williams escaped punishment for incidents highlighted by the citing commissioner after their side's semi-final clash last weekend. The Cook Islander was "cited under law 10.4 (A) for an alleged punch on Munster player Alan Quinlan" in the 25th minute, while Williams was alleged to have stamped on Ireland fly-half Jonathan Sexton. Neither player was censured by match referee Nigel Owens at the time of the incidents, but IRFU disciplinary hearings in Dublin on Wednesday, found the foul play took place in both instances. However, it ruled that neither transgression would have warranted a red card and both players are now free to play. The season is over for Williams and he has been released by Munster, but Leinster will be relieved to have the in-form Wright for the final.
