Ospreys' Rhys Webb ruled out for the season with knee injury

Scrum-half Rhys Webb has played his last game for Ospreys after a knee injury ruled him out for the rest of the season.
The 29-year-old, who will join French club Toulon at the end of the season, might have also played his final game for Wales with his move to France making him ineligible to play for his country next season due to a rule change.
Webb's 28 appearances for Wales means he falls victim to the WRU's new senior international selection policy - stating players who take up deals with a team outside Wales must have won 60 caps to be able to play Test rugby.
"Rhys pulled out of Wales' Six Nations campaign and went on to have surgery on an ongoing knee problem," the Ospreys said in a statement.
"He will be unavailable for the remainder of this season and his focus is now on getting his recovery right for next season."
Webb made his Wales debut in 2012. He announced his decision to end his 11-year stint with Osprey on October 10, less than two weeks before the WRU introduced its new rule.
"I don't know how long it's going to take me to get over it," said Webb when the new law was introduced.
"It's a joke. I'm disappointed. Representing your country means so much to me and being told I won't be able to play for them is heartbreaking."
Webb said nobody at either Ospreys or the WRU had told him a rule change was imminent.
