Coach agrees to initial three-month playing deal
Perpignan have moved to solve their problems at fly-half by signing Manny Edmonds on a short-term contract.
The Australian joins the Catalan club as a medical joker after Nicolas Laharrague was ruled out for up to three months.
The 33-year-old Edmonds spent five years at Perpignan before moving to Bayonne in 2007.
He initially returned to last season's beaten Top 14 finalists to coach the backs, however he has agreed to sign an initial three-month playing contract.
