Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu has agreed to move to Brive regardless of what division they are in next season.
The 26-year-old, who has captained Fiji in the Pacific Nations Cup and went on to play at the World Cup, has signed a two-year deal to make the move from Waikato.
And Waqaniburotu will make the complete the switch even if Brive lose their fight against relegation from the Top 14.
With two games of the season remaining, Brive have dropped to 12th - with only points difference keeping them out of the relegation places.
