Sebastien Vahaamahina could miss France's summer tour to New Zealand if he is suspended for two incidents which occurred while playing for Clermont against Agen.
Vahaamahina will face a disciplinary panel, National Rugby League (LNR) confirmed Monday, after being red-carded for punching an opponent during a 27-17 defeat to Agen on Saturday.
As he left the pitch, the 26-year-old Noumea-born player defiantly responded to Agen fans with a middle-finger gesture.
Vahaamahina offered apologies afterwards via messages on his Twitter account, but a ban of more than a week could see him excluded from France's travelling party to New Zealand next month.
