Plymouth Albion have been rocked by news that leading scorer James Love has rejected the chance to stay at the club. The 24-year-old made a massive impression last season after being plucked from playing for Hartpury College in National Three South West. Love, who slotted in at full-back or on the wing, seamlessly made the transition to the RFU Championship as he weighed in with 247 points for the struggling outfit. However Love, who had a previous stint playing for the Arabian Gulf on the IRB Sevens circuit, has turned down the offer of a new deal at Brickfields in order to be closer to his family in London.
