Crompton and Marsden take up coaching positions at Hartpury

Former England prop Darren Crompton and Sean Marsden have left Bristol to take up coaching positions at Hartpury College. Crompton, who won his solitary cap against South Africa in 2007, has agreed to take on a player-coaching role at the National Two South side. Crompton joined Bristol in 1999 from Richmond and went on to make 283 appearances for the club. Marsden, Bristol's all-time leading try-scorer in the league, will join the academy staff at Hartpury. The 32-year-old racked up 273 points for Bristol in 131 appearances over the course of three stints at the Memorial Stadium. A statement from the club read: "Bristol Rugby would like to thank Sean and DC for their loyal service and commitment to Bristol Rugby Club."
