Do not adjust your screens...the above really did happen!
The London Sevens took place over the weekend in the ninth leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series, and once again the entertainment was superb.
While most nations were entertaining with superlative offloads and searing pace, however, Samoa took it upon themselves to entertain in a slightly different way.
Featuring against Spain in the 13th place semi-final on Sunday, Samoa looked set for an early 14-0 lead when Alamanda Motuga scythed through and under the posts for a seemingly simple try.
Once in the in-goal area, however, Motuga's teammate Danny Tusitala appeared and ran past him, only for the former to chuck the ball to him as a gift of a try.
However, he had clearly passed the ball forward - right in front of the referee. Thankfully for all those involved, Samoa won 26-10 in the end.
This really has to be seen to be believed!
Elsewhere at Twickenham, Fiji Sevens moved closer to World Rugby Sevens Series Title after taking the gold against the Blitzboks, while Ireland pipped England to bronze.
