Tuilagi production continues

Anitelea Tuilagi has become the latest member of the family to join the Tigers.

Anitelea Tuilagi, brother of weekend try-scorer Alesana, has agreed a two-year contract to take him back to Leicester Tigers.

The youngest of four Tuilagi brothers to have been on the Tigers' books, Anitelea has signed his first professional contract after spending last season in the Academy squad.

Older brother and agent Freddie confirmed: ‚Ç£"Tigers are busy sorting out a work permit for him and he should hopefully be here within the next two weeks."

"A few clubs were interested in Anitelea, but he always wanted to sign his first professional contract with Leicester and show some loyalty to the club after they gave him the opportunity to join the academy last year.‚Ç¥

Tuilagi returns as a first team squad member after representing Samoa in the Pacific Tri-Nations, and his brother promised Leicester fans that the club are getting a much-improved player.

"I thought he had quite a good series, it would've been a great experience for him and he's also put on a few extra pounds since he was last here.

"He must just train hard and try his best to get into the first team.

‚Ç£There's a lot of competition, with the likes of Leon Lloyd and Ollie Smith, who have played for England, but Paddy's not afraid to give the younger guys a chance and if Anitelea gets an opportunity I am sure he will take it."
