Leeds have confirmed they are interested in signing Australia legend Stephen Larkham if his move to Edinburgh is cancelled.

Guinness Premiership new boys Leeds have confirmed they are interested in signing Australia star Stephen Larkham.
The fly-half, who is currently preparing for the World Cup in France, had agreed to join Edinburgh.
However, the deal was struck with the Celtic League outfit as a private franchise and since then the Scottish Rugby Union have taken control.
With the SRU yet to make an announcement either way over his deal, Larkham, who had signed a two-year contract with the Gunners, faces an uncertain future.
World class
Leeds are certainly monitoring the situation and feel they could make an 'appealing' offer to tempt the Wallabies legend to England.
"We are in the market for world class players and Stephen Larkham is certainly in that category," Leeds Carnegie chief executive Gary Hetherington said.
"We have been monitoring the situation with Edinburgh and are now in position to make a formal offer.
"We expect a good deal of competition from clubs around the world, but feel we can put together a package which will be appealing to Stephen and his family."
Competition
Leeds are expected to face some stiff competition if Larkham does become available.
Newport Gwent Dragons and Toulouse, who are looking for a replacement for the departing Frederic Michalak, are both rumoured to be interested.
