Stormers No.10 to face former club
Former All Blacks Tony Brown will start at fly-half for the Stormer against his former team the Highlanders at Newlands on Saturday. It will be Brown's 88th Super Rugby cap, having also represented the Sharks last year. Brown played a key role for the Highlanders when they beat the Stormers at Newlands in the 1999 Super 12 semi-final, qualifying for their only Super Rugby final. Brown, who played for nearly a decade with Otago and the Highlanders, is set to start in place of the in-form Peter Grant. In fact, both half-backs have been changed as Bolla Conradie will wear the No.9 jersey while Grant and Ricky Januarie are allowed to rest on the bench. Ross Skeate is given a chance to start ahead of Adriaan Fondse and will partner Andries Bekker in the second row. Injuries to Tonderai Chavhanga and JD Moller have forced the other two changes. Dylan Des Fountain will start on the right wing while Schalk Ferreira will pack down at loosehead prop. Ferreira has made a miraculous return to the team after sustaining a neck injury that was expected to keep him out of the action this season. Stormers: 15 Conrad Jantjes, 14 Dylan Des Fountain, 13 Gcobani Bobo, 12 Jean De Villiers (c), 11 Sireli Naqelevuki, 10 Tony Brown, 9 Bolla Conradie, 8 Luke Watson, 7 Francois Louw, 6 Schalk Burger, 5 Andries Bekker, 4 Ross Skeate, 3 Brian Mujati, 2 Tiaan Liebenberg, 1 Schalk Ferreira.Replacements: 16 Schalk Brits, 17 Brok Harris, 18 Adriaan Fondse, 19 Robbie Diack, 20 Ricky Januarie, 21 Peter Grant, 22 Gio Aplon.
