Bath head coach Steve Meehan is already looking forward to his side's Heineken Cup showdown with Toulouse.
Dragons to take the positives out of narrow home defeat
Bath head coach Steve Meehan felt his players earned their money at Rodney Parade after battling to a 15-12 win over the Dragons.
The Guinness Premiership side moved to the top of Pool Five following Toulouse's shock loss to Glasgow on Saturday.
The result means Bath can now qualify for the knockout stages as group winners if they beat the French side at The Rec next weekend.
"We have all earned our pay this week again, this is not an easy place to come and play," head coach Meehan said.
Spirited
"The Dragons were a really spirited side and play well for one another.
"Our match next week is a case of winner takes all and I am sure the players will be excited about it and the city of Bath will be looking forward to Toulouse arriving.
"Let's hope it is a good, open, quick match and we win."
Bath had held an 8-0 half-time advantage thanks to Joe Maddock's early try, though Meehan thought the lead should have been even greater.
The Dragons responded after the break with tries from winger Richard Fussell and scrum-half Wayne Evans to move 12-8 ahead.
However, it was the visitors who came out on top thanks to Stuart Hooper's try in the 66th minute following a fine break from Bath captain Alex Crockett.
"At 8-0, it was not the greatest margin we would have liked and, as we saw, the Dragons came out and played some good rugby in the second half and put some pressure on us," Meehan added.
"But our whole design in the second half was to try and own the ball and put them under some defensive pressure.
"It was not the prettiest of games but it is the result that matters."
Frustrating
Opposite number Paul Turner reflected on plenty of good things from his Dragons despite being unable to record a shock result.
"It's frustrating. I really feel for the players," he said.
"We have muscled up with probably the best side in England and we have probably deserved to win one of them and we could have done that today.
"It was all going according to plan for us (at 12-8) and we got ourselves into the right areas and put their back three under pressure.
"But then we got soft with a couple of tackles but, even at the death, we could have dropped the goal to draw. A lot of good things happened today."
