The Bulls confirmed on their website on Tuesday that Habana had rejected their offer of a new deal to join their rivals.

"The Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd received an email from Mr Bernie Habana on Friday saying that Bryan Habana has not accepted the offer that was made to him by the Blue Bulls," read the statement on the club's official site.
"The CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, Barend van Graan, received an email from Mr Habana on Monday which said that Bryan Habana has received and accepted an offer from the Western Province.
