6 Nations reflections

With France having emerged as Grand Slam winners, we want your thoughts on the 2010 Six Nations.

France claim Grand Slam, but hope for home nations?

They may not have won it with a flourish, but France's dogged 12-10 victory over England on Saturday evening ensured they finished the 2010 RBS Six Nations Championship as Grand Slam winners. While some way from their fluent best against England, Mark Lievremont's men emerged as worthy champions having swept all before them in this year's championship. However, while it was Les Bleus celebrating at the final whistle in Paris, there were plenty of positives for England to reflect on in defeat as they produced undoubtedly their most impressive performance of the tournament. A superb try from full-back Ben Foden capped a positive display of attacking rugby from the visitors and team manager Martin Johnson will feel there is now a platform from which to build. There was an encouraging end also for Scotland who claimed a brave and memorable 23-20 triumph over Ireland at Croke Park. Dan Parks was the hero for Andy Robinson's men as he kicked a superb last-gasp penalty to ensure they chalked up their first win of the championship and avoided the wooden spoon. Wales finished a largely disappointing tournament on a high as well as they romped past Italy 33-10 at the Millennium Stadium with returning stars Mike Phillips and Gethin Jenkins catching the eye in particular. So what are your views on this year's Six Nations? Were France deserving champions? Have England turned the corner? Are Scotland on the right track? Whatever your team, we want to hear your thoughts on the 2010 Six Nations.
