WWE has announced the signing of former NFL offensive tackle Brennan Williams.

The 25-year old, the son of ex-New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets defensive end Brent Williams, will report to WWE's Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida.

Williams was a third-round draft pick by Houston Texans in 2013 but injured his knee in his debut season and was released in 2014 without playing a game.

The Massachusetts-born athlete, who also reached the practice squads of Jacksonville Jaguars and the Patriots, began wrestling training in 2015 under the guidance of WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
