The Undertaker will make his long-awaited return to the WWE ring when he appears on the 900th episode of Smackdown on Tuesday night.

The Phenom has been absent from WWE television since defeating Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell Match at WrestleMania 31 in April - his 23rd win in 24 bouts at WWE's biggest event.

The Undertaker recently joined the festivities at Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA Championship celebration, meeting up with the likes of Kevin Love, Chris Anderson and Richard Jefferson.

And The Demon of Death Valley will now mark Smackdown's landmark event when he heads to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The Undertaker has wrestled the vast majority of his WWE career on the Smackdown brand, engaging in rivalries with stars such as Batista and Edge.

Yet his appearance on the show will come just days before WWE's Survivor Series pay-per-view, the event where The Phenom made his WWE in-ring debut in November 1990.

What will the legend have to say about that?
