Accrington have signed Northern Ireland striker Andy Little on an emergency loan from Preston.

The 26-year-old former Rangers trainee, who recently had a spell at Blackpool, will stay with Stanley until the end of the season.

Little will go straight into the squad for Friday's Sky Bet League Two clash against Leyton Orient at the Wham Stadium.

Manager John Coleman told the club's website: "He's someone I've monitored for a long time. When he was breaking through at Rangers I tried to sign him but then he had a purple patch and scored a lot of goals and that put him out of my ballpark to be honest.

"He's suffered with injuries this year so this is a chance for him to get some football and get himself back on track."
