Tony Pulis is set to rotate his West Brom squad for the trip to Accrington in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

The Baggies have started the Premier League campaign with two wins from two games, and Pulis will reward some of his first-team stars with a midweek break.

Sky Bet League Two side Accrington, meanwhile, saw off Championship Preston in the first round to set up this tie with the Baggies.

Team news

Despite the fact they play again on Friday night, Accrington boss John Coleman has said they won't be making too many changes to the side that beat Mansfield on Saturday.

Pulis is expected to give his fringe players some game time. Rekeem Harper, Jonathan Leko and Kane Wilson have been included in the squad for both Premier League matches so far this season but the young trio could start the second-round tie on Tuesday night, along with Boaz Myhill and Salomon Rondon.

James Morrison may be involved for the first time this season as he steps up his fitness following a knee injury while the club are waiting on the result of their appeal against Hal Robson-Kanu's red card at the weekend. As things stand, the striker is suspended.

Burnley 0-1 West Brom

Stanley eliminated Premier League opposition in last season's League Cup second round, winning 1-0 against Burnley - it remains their only ever win over top-flight opponents.

Tony Pulis has progressed from each of his four cup meetings with League Two opposition as manager of a Premier League side, most recently in the FA Cup fifth round against Crawley Town in February 2012 with Stoke City.

Prutton's prediction

It's been a great start for West Brom and these are the types of games where you feel that Tony Pulis will just want as straightforward an evening as possible.

He'll make changes but he'll expect whoever he puts out to be bang on it, and that should see them past Accrington.

Prutton predicts: 0-2 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
