Here's how things look at the bottom after that result...
ARSENAL 2-0 HULL
FT: Far from convincing for Arsenal but they are back to winning ways. Hull gave it a real good go as they pushed for an equaliser but it was a tail of two handball's for Marco Silva's men. Sanchez's in the process of scoring Arsenal's first and Clucas' at the end, which handed Arsenal the penalty to secure a much needed win.
GOAL! ARSENAL 2-0 HULL (Sanchez, 90+3)
Sanchez makes the points safe, side footing the ball past Jakupovic and into the bottom corner.
ARSENAL 1-0 HULL - RED CARD HULL (Clucas, 90+1)
Deliberate handball means it's a red card for Clucas, who trudges slowly off the field.
ARSENAL 1-0 HULL - PENALTY TO ARSENAL
Ozil slips the ball through for Sanchez to chase. He gets there ahead of Jakupovic but is pushed out wide. He cuts back onto his right foot before picking out a wonderful cross for Lucas at the far post. The Spaniard hits the target but his effort is blocked on the line by Clucas. After some deliberation Clattenburg points to the spot for deliberate handball.

90: Robertson drives to the byline and wins a corner...
88: Mustafi wins the ball back and plays a quick ball forward to Ozil. However, the German gifts possession back to Hull with an attempted back heel to Sanchez. Cue the groans from the stands.
87: Arsenal look slightly nervous at the back. They are really battling to hold onto their lead at the moment.
86: CHANCE! Diomande has a free header but powers his effort over the crossbar. It's a real let off for the Gunners.
84: FREE-KICK! It's another ball into the box for Arsenal to deal with. Ranocchia gets his head to the ball but it loops up and straight into the arms of Cech.
83: FREE-KICK! The ball's whipped into the Arsenal area but it's headed clear, only as far as Markovic. The winger drives into the box but runs out of room as Arsenal win the ball back.

82: SUB! It's a double change for Arsenal. Welbeck and Lucas Perez replace Oxlade-Chamberlain and Iwobi.
81: Hull are giving this a real go. In the last five minutes they had 77 per cent of the possession.
80: WIDE! Niasse runs to the near post and makes good contact with header. The ball flashes wide of the post though, skimming the side netting.
79: SUB! Positive final change for Hull. Diomande replaces Huddlesatone.
78: SAVE! Maguire's cross is met by Markovic but he cannot get enough power on his header to beat Cech.
76: YELLOW! Sanchez looks to cut inside Ranocchia and he goes down right on the edge of the penalty area. There's a little bit of contact but not enough to warrant a free-kick. Clattenburg does halt play though and shows the yellow card to Sanchez for simulation.
74: N'Diaye looks to run at the Arsenal defence but he's stopped in his tracks by Coquelin. it looks to be a fir challenge but Clattenburg has pulled up play for an earlier infringement against Arsenal.
72: CORNER! Ozil's corner picks out Mustafi, who is running away from goal, and the defender cannot hit the target.
70: YELLOW! Ranocchia catches Sanchez on the top of the foot and Clattenburg brandishes the yellow card.

66: SUB! Hull make a second change. Elabdellaoui is replaced by Elmohamady.
63: End-to-end stuff. Walcott does well to take Sanchez's pass in his stride but his shot is weak and it's easily saved by Jakupovic.
At the other end, Niasse gets to the byline and pulls a cross back into the area which is cut out by Koscielny.
60: SUB! First change for Hull. Grosicki is replaced by Evandro.
59: SHOT! More and more space is appearing as the game wears on. Ozil breaks down the left before teeing up Iwobi, who curls an effort over the crossbar.
ALAN SMITH IN THE
“Gibbs won’t mind
picking up a yellow he’s stopped a really dangerous situation. If Markovic gets
a good touch he’s through on goal. It’s a big call from Mark Clattenburg. I think
it could have easily have been red.”
55: RED CARD? No, it's just yellow. Gibbs comes across and shoves Markovic to ground. The Hull players crowd Clattenburg, suggesting Gibbs is the last man but the referee pulls out a yellow card.
53: YELLOW! Walcott goes into the book after losing his temper with Maguire. The Hull defender ushers the ball out of play which leads to Walcott picking the ball up and throwing the ball away.
“It’s a smart stop
from Cech. It was a clever dummy by Markovic to leave Koscielny, not many can
do that. Niasse gets plenty behind it but Cech is a match. That’s the danger
for Arsenal, with just the one-goal lead Hull have the capability of hitting them
on the counter.”
51: SAVE! Arsenal break forward through Iwobi but his cross is cut out and in the blink of an eye Hull are on the attack. Markovic bursts past Koscielny before picking out Niasse in the area. The striker takes a touch before firing a powerful shot goalwards which Cech turns behind.
