Blackburn are preparing to face Brighton with just one fit centre-back.

Shane Duffy (groin) is almost certainly out and Matt Kilgallon (hip) is doubtful, meaning Paul Lambert may have to play Darragh Lenihan alongside Grant Hanley if he cannot sign someone before Saturday.

Danny Guthrie (hamstring) is set to come back into the squad while Corry Evans and Tom Lawrence are fine after they came off in the 1-1 midweek draw against QPR with knocks.

However, Fode Koita (hamstring), Nathan Delfouneso (hamstring) and Jason Lowe (foot) remain sidelined.

Brighton are still without defenders Uwe Hunemeier, Gaetan Bong and Liam Rosenior.

Hunemeier remains sidelined by a groin problem, Bong has a thigh injury and Rosenior is out with knee trouble.

Midfielder Solly March is a long-term absentee with a the knee injury that is set to keep him out for the rest of the season.
