Tony McMahon Bradford City

Bradford defender Tony McMahon will miss the home game against Oldham due to a thigh injury.

McMahon tore a thigh muscle late in last week's home win against Coventry and will be sidelined for up to five weeks.

Fellow defenders Stephen Darby (groin), Rory McArdle (shoulder) and Nathan Clarke (calf) have yet to feature this season, so summer signing Matt Kilgallon could be included in the squad for the first time following a hamstring injury.

Striker James Hanson (calf) will be assessed after missing the past two matches, but winger Filipe Morais is expected to shake off a minor muscle strain in time.

Oldham manager Stephen Robinson is sweating on the fitness of three players.

Jamie Reckord (groin), Darius Osei (ankle) and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin (hamstring) will all undergo late tests to determine if they can feature in West Yorkshire.

Robinson was without Billy Mckay for the EFL Cup loss to Preston in midweek but he is expected to overcome a minor groin issue to play.
