Brighton will be without Sam Baldock through suspension when they host Brentford.

The striker serves a one-match ban after he was sent off during the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle a fortnight ago.

Midfielder Dale Stephens could return to the fold after the Seagulls fended off the advances of Burnley before the transfer window closed.

New signing Sebastien Pocognoli can be added to the squad along with fellow defenders Connor Goldson and Uwe Huenemeier, who are fit after long spells.

Brentford could hand a debut to on-loan Crystal Palace winger Sullay Kaikai, but fellow deadline-day capture Rico Henry is out with a shoulder injury.

Kaikai could replace Danish forward Lasse Vibe, who is suspended following his red card against Sheffield Wednesday last time out.

Ryan Woods and Nico Yennaris have overcome minor knocks and Yoann Barbet is fit after an ankle injury, although the game might come too soon for him.

Midfielder Alan Judge is still out as continues to recover from a broken leg.
