Burton will check on Jamie Ward ahead of the visit of Rotherham as he continues his recovery from a fractured wrist.

The forward, on loan from Nottingham Forest, underwent surgery after sustaining the injury in the goalless draw at home to Barnsley on November 5 and is now wearing a protective cast.

Brewers boss Nigel Clough will make a late decision over Ward's inclusion - possibly as late as Saturday morning.
