Joe Riley and Tom Soares are both doubtful for Bury's Sky Bet League 1 home clash with strugglers Doncaster on Saturday.

Defender Riley came off in the first half of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Burton due to an ankle problem and midfielder Soares was then substituted at the interval because of an Achilles injury.

There could be a place in the matchday 18 for midfielder Kelvin Etuhu, who has not played since injuring his hamstring against Coventry in February.

But Andrew Tutte (hamstring), Leon Clarke (thigh), Jacob Mellis (ankle) and Rob Lainton (groin) remain sidelined.

Doncaster will be without defender Craig Alcock, who serves a one-game ban following his dismissal in last week's 2-2 draw at Rochdale.

Gary MacKenzie and Cedric Evina will be hoping to return to the starting line-up in Alcock's absence, while boss Darren Ferguson has no new injury concerns following last week's 2-2 draw at Rochdale.

Andy Williams and Gary McSheffrey continued up front at Rochdale as Doncaster halted a seven-game losing run so Nathan Tyson may have to settle for a place on the bench again.
