    Carlisle v Chesterfield preview

Carlisle captain Danny Grainger remains a doubt for the visit of Chesterfield.

Grainger has missed the last two matches through injury and Tom Parkes will continue at left-back if the 31-year-old is ruled out again. Ashley Nadesan could be pushing for a starting place after he impressed as a second-half substitute in the midweek defeat at Notts County.

Former Spireites Jamie Devitt, Gary Liddle and Jamal Campbell-Ryce will all be hoping to play against their former club.

Chesterfield's injury problems continue to mount with Dylan Morley-Henry looking like he may need a hernia operation. Giles Coke has also picked up an injury and he is set for a few weeks on the sidelines.

Sid Nelson has resumed training, though, and the defender could come back into contention while Drew Talbot is not too far away from making a return. Gozie Ugwu, George Smith, Sam Hird and Ian Evatt all remain out injured for the Spireites, who have slipped back into the relegation places after three straight defeats.
