Team news ahead of Saturday's League 2 clash between Carlisle and Oxford United

Carlisle defender Michael Raynes and striker Hallam Hope are out of the club's final home game of the season against Oxford.

Raynes' season is over due to a head injury and Hope will complete a three-game ban.

David Atkinson missed last weekend's win over Crawley with a hamstring problem and will be monitored, but Tom Miller was fit enough for a return to the bench in that match.

Louis Pedro appears no closer to adding to his solitary appearance last month but Martin Smith returned to the bench having returned to the matchday squad at Crawley.

Oxford's injury worries are showing signs of easing as they look for the win which could secure them automatic promotion.

Kemar Roofe's ankle injury is not completely healed but the League Two Player of the Year was due to train on Thursday. John Lundstram, Joe Skarz, Jordan Bowery and Sam Long were also expected to be involved in the session after overcoming issues.

However, Johnny Mullins is a major injury doubt for the trip to Cumbria after suffering a fresh ankle injury in training this week.

On-loan defender Jordan Evans remains out for Oxford, who would seal a top-three finish with victory if results involving Bristol Rovers and Plymouth also went in their favour.
