Celtic v Rangers preview: Team news for Sunday's Old Firm derby
Sunday 12 March 2017 12:11, UK
Celtic can call upon James Forrest for Sunday’s Old Firm derby with Rangers, live on Sky Sports.
The Hoops winger has recovered from a knee injury which forced him out of their last two matches.
Midfielder Tom Rogic has returned to training after having an operation on his ankle but is still some weeks away from featuring for the first team.
Rangers defender Rob Kiernan misses out through suspension after the club failed to overturn his red card against St Johnstone and will instead begin a two-match ban at Celtic Park.
Striker Joe Garner is also suspended as he has picked up six bookings this season, while Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar remain on the sidelines.
The Light Blues confirmed the appointment of Pedro Caixinho on Saturday, although interim boss Graeme Murty will remain in charge for the derby clash.
Murty will hope his final game at the helm will see a more positive result against their rivals than their previous three meetings this season, which saw narrow defeats at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership and Scottish League Cup, as well as a 5-1 drubbing at Parkead in September.
Watch Celtic v Rangers on Sunday. Coverage begins on Sky Sports 1 HD and Sky Sports 5 HD at 11:30am.
