Celtic v St Johnstone: Scott Brown suspended as Hoops go for record points tally
Friday 5 May 2017 23:23, UK
Celtic skipper Scott Brown serves the first game of a two-match suspension, as the Hoops continue their title celebrations against St Johnstone.
Brendan Rodgers' side have four games left to try and break their record points tally of 103. Celtic have 94 points with 12 more to play for, but they will also have one eye firmly on the Scottish Cup final.
Defender Mikael Lustig will be rested as they host fourth-placed St Johnstone. The 30-year-old has already played 50 games this season including Sweden internationals.
Striker Moussa Dembele remains out with a hamstring injury, and he is a doubt for the Cup final against Aberdeen on May 27.
Saints striker Steven MacLean returns from a ban and youngster Ally Gilchrist has also rejoined the squad after recovering from a groin problem.
Chris Millar is likely to miss their remaining four games of the campaign however, having sustained a groin issue of his own.
David Wotherspoon should be okay after shaking off a knock while Chris Kane and Keith Watson (both knee) are closing in on comebacks.
