Doncaster boss Paul Dickov is likely to rotate his squad for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy visit of Burton.
Rovers have been working with depleted numbers in the early part of the campaign and Dickov could use this opportunity to give his fringe players a run-out.
Luke McCullough (knee) and Rob Jones (neck) are definitely out, while Paul Keegan (knee) and Dany N'Guessan (foot) are unlikely to feature.
Dickov must decide whether to pick Richie Wellens, who was left out of Saturday's 2-0 win over Fleetwood after asking for permission to discuss terms with an unnamed club over a possible move.
Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will once again utilise his squad for a cup competition.
The Dutchman made eight changes last week against Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup, although there are not expected to be quite so many alterations at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Jerome Binnom-Williams impressed Hasselbaink from the bench on Saturday as Burton beat Shrewsbury and the young defender, on loan from Crystal Palace, is among those players who could come back into the team, along with the likes of Lucas Akins, Aurelien Joachim, Tom Naylor, Anthony O'Connor, Matt Palmer and Remi Matthews.
On-loan Wolves winger Zeli Ismail (knee) is still not fit while the versatile Darius Charles is also waiting to make his Albion debut as he works his way back to full fitness after a leg problem.
