Gillingham v Doncaster preview
Friday 4 September 2015 11:14, UK
Gillingham are set to be without defensive midfielder Aaron Morris for their home match against Doncaster.
Morris is out with a hamstring issue but the Gills are boosted by the availability of Cody McDonald (knee), Emmanuel Osadebe (calf) and Doug Loft (calf).
All three had returned to action from the bench against Peterborough and came through a development fixture without any problems, while the club are set to hand Josh Wright an extension to his short-term deal.
Gillingham remain unbeaten so far in the league and manager Justin Edinburgh said: "We are speaking with Josh and his agent. There's no time frame on it. He's already with us on a non-contract basis, so we can push that into a full contract - it's ongoing and hopefully it will be concluded."
Doncaster could hand a debut to midfielder Oscar Gobern as they make the long trip to Kent.
Gobern joined Rovers on loan until January on deadline day from QPR and is in contention for a place in Paul Dickov's side.
But Richie Wellens will play no part as his future remains up in the air as he seeks an exit from Rovers to move closer to his home in Lancashire.
Luke McCullough (knee) is still eight weeks away from fitness, Harry Forrester (knee) is 10 weeks away, Nathan Tyson (hamstring) is three weeks away, but Rob Jones (neck) is closer, though will not take part at Priestfield.
