Jonas Knudsen could return to the Ipswich squad against Bolton on Tuesday night.

The Danish defender suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest and subsequently missed the goalless stalemate with Cardiff on Saturday.

Teddy Bishop is back in training following his hamstring problem and was held back from a game for the Under-21 squad on Monday so the teenage midfielder may be involved against Neil Lennon's side.

Luke Hyam (knee) and Luke Varney (Achilles) are still weeks away from full fitness and Ryan Fraser has returned to parent club Bournemouth due to his knee injury.

Bolton will check on midfielder Jay Spearing and striker Liam Feeney, who are both nursing knocks after the Preston game on Saturday.

Mark Davies is expected to return to the squad after an Achilles problem forced him to miss the goalless stalemate with North End while Dean Moxey, also absent at Deepdale due to a toe injury, may come back into the reckoning as well.

On-loan Manchester City midfielder Luke Brattan will hope to travel, having not been involved at the weekend.
