Liverpool will be looking to register their first home win of 2017, against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday (kick-off 12.30pm).

Liverpool have won just one of their last seven games and were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Southampton on Wednesday.

Wolves travel to Anfield with the chance of reaching the fifth round for the first time since 2008 and have already knocked out Premier League opposition in the previous round when seeing off Stoke City 2-0.

Team news

Liverpool are set to be without Adam Lallana. The England international needed stitches in a cut suffered against Southampton in midweek and is unlikely to be risked, but full-back Nathaniel Clyne is poised to return.

Klopp will make several changes but is likely to name a more experienced line-up than he did for the third-round tie with Plymouth.

Wolves goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne looks set to play as Carl Ikeme is suspended and Andy Lonergan isn't fully fit after suffering a knee injury.

This will be the first time Liverpool and Wolves have met in the FA Cup since the fourth round in 1951/52.

Wolves have only progressed from one of their last eight fourth-round ties in the FA Cup, beating Watford 4-1 in 2007/08.

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool are effectively playing with 10 men in matches that Daniel Sturridge plays but does not score in

The Reds have lost just one of their last seven games against Wolverhampton Wanderers in all competitions (W5 D1).

Wolves' 2-0 win over Stoke in the last round was their first away FA Cup win since January 2010 when they beat Tranmere, which was also the last time they won back-to-back away games in the competition.

Liverpool's last two losses at Anfield in the FA Cup have been to second-tier teams (Barnsley in 2008 and Reading 2010).

Prediction

Liverpool appear to have hit a brick wall, they look tired. On a positive note, though, they are making the chances, they're just not putting them away. This a real opportunity for Wolves because I can't see Jurgen Klopp playing a strong team, what with Chelsea on the horizon. I have to go for a Liverpool win because they're at home, but things could be difficult for them at Anfield.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0 (11/2 with Sky Bet)

Betting

Liverpool are strong favourites at 30/100 to reach the next round with Wolves available at 9/1 to beat their Premier League opponents. Wolves have scored just seven goals in their last 13 games in all competitions against Liverpool, which could open the possibility of a Liverpool win to nil. That is a 11/10 shot.

Philippe Coutinho to score from outside the penalty area has been boosted to 11/2 from 7/2 while Daniel Sturridge is favourite in the first goalscorer market at 3/1.
