Christian Eriksen: Mauricio Pochettino found the solution at Spurs

Christian Eriksen believes Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham side have clicked under the Argentine ahead of the north London derby.

Spurs travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal on Super Sunday, sitting five points behind their rivals in fifth place.

Tottenham are unbeaten in the Premier League since the opening day of the campaign, and have scored eight goals in their last league two games ahead of the short trip on Sunday.

And Eriksen, who was brought to the club by Andre Villas-Boas in 2013, says the players are happy with the attacking style of play under Pochettino.

He told Soccer Saturday: "It's always more comfortable to play in a team when we are winning more than losing.

"Everyone is really happy at where we are. We've shown we have good players and enjoy playing with each other.

"In the beginning [of Pochettino's tenure] there were a lot of things we needed to recognise, needed to remember, but now the players around us know where to go. Normally we have an idea.

"It's the best connection with the squad. Everyone is down to earth, easy to speak with and easy to play with. 

"[Pochettino] found a solution for what we needed, because we were a young team. We hopefully will play as quick as we can, we want to go forward, we want to attack, we want to score goals. 

"It's nice to play in, especially when you are an attacking player."

Spurs could end the weekend in the top four of the Premier League, as they look to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 2010. 

Danish international Eriksen, who scored 12 goals from midfield last season for Spurs, insists they are getting closer to reaching that coveted top four.

"Since I've been here it has always been about coming in the top four. 

"We're getting closer and closer each time. We have the solution now, we have the ideas and have the players, so hopefully we'll continue what we're doing."
